Question 1: What is the best way of submitting my job application? Our preferred mode is via electronic mail. Please email your application to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and state the position that you are applying for as the subject title. Question 2: How would I know if PowerSeraya has received my application?
If you had sent your application via email, your application should have gone through successfully if you do not receive a return error message.
On our part, due to overwhelming response to PowerSeraya's positions, it is usually difficult to trace individual applications. Iif you have been short-listed, we would contact you within one month from the date of the application. If you are sending your application for positions that are not currently available in PowerSeraya, we will keep your application in our databank for future reference. Question 3: I have submitted my job application to PowerSeraya, how soon will I hear from your company ?
If you have been short-listed for the position, you should be hearing from us within one month from the date of application or from the closing date of the position.
Question 4: Where would the interview be held?
All interviews are conducted at PowerSeraya's corporate office at HarbourFront Tower 1, Unit #16-04. This location is accessible via public transport (HarbourFront Bus Interchange and HarbourFront MRT Station. Hourly parking is available at HarbourFront Tower 1 and HarbourFront Centre. There is also a public car park across from HarbourFront Tower 1. Question 5: What should I bring for my first interview? Candidates will be required to submit photocopies of the following documents: academic certificates, employee testimonials, NRIC (front and back), current/last payslip. Question 6: How many rounds of interviews should I expect if I am short-listed?
For most positions, two rounds of interviews are required. Short-listed candidates can expect to know the outcome of their application within two weeks from the date of the final interview session. Candidates who are unsuccessful will receive either an official letter/email from our recruitment personnel informing them of the outcome of the application.
Question 7: If I am not successful in my application, will I be considered for other future positions? All resumes sit in the PowerSeraya databank for one year. And should there be suitable positions that fit your profile, our Human Resource Dept will contact you for an initial discussion. |
