The PowerSeraya Group

PowerSeraya Ltd is in the business of producing, wholesaling, trading and retailing of energy; with a primary focus on electricity. As an established player in Singapore’s energy sector, it supplies the nation with around 30 per cent of its energy needs through its multi-utilities platform. Through its retail arm, Seraya Energy Pte Ltd, it has been providing a wide range of innovative products and services to meet the diverse needs of our customers. On 2 April 2007, it expanded into Physical Oil Trading with the setting up of PetroSeraya Pte Ltd.

Backed by its strategic location in Jurong Island and its excellent infrastructure, the Company is poised to expand its role to become the Leading Integrated Energy Company in Singapore offering steam, water and physical oil trading and storage services. PowerSeraya was spun off from Singapore Power in 2001 to become a Temasek Holdings-linked company. Subsequently on 6 March 2009, the PowerSeraya Group was divested from Temasek Holdings to become a subsidiary of YTL Power International Berhad.
