PowerSeraya has been a strong supporter of environmental causes especially in the areas of climate change and clean energy.
Knowledge Sharing
 The company has sponsored several environmental-related seminars including the Public Conference on Climate Change in Asia organised by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs, as well as a Youth Energy Forum on clean energy which was held in conjunction with the International Energy Week in November 2008. Organised by non-profit organisation Energy Carta, the forum was attended by local and international students. Our ex-MD Mr Neil McGregor also participated as a panelist speaker for a conference on clean energy.
Public Awareness and Action
PowerSeraya has sponsored Clean & Green Singapore (CGS) 2008 and 2009, one of the biggest environmental events organised annually by the National Environment Agency as part of its efforts to raise the level of environmental awareness to the general public and encourage them to take concrete steps to care for the environment. PowerSeraya is proud to have played a major part in the annual CGS campaign for two consecutive years to elevate environmental awareness in Singapore.
Supporting NGOs
PowerSeraya has been supporting the Pulau Semakau CEO Run since it was started in 2007. An annual fund-raising event, it is organised by the National Environment Agency (NEA) in support of environmental Non-Governmental Organisations which run programmes for the public to embrace environmental responsibility. For three consecutive years, PowerSeraya has contributed to the works of NGOs such as Singapore Environment Council, Singapore Institute of International Affairs Haze Program, Restroom Association of Singapore, HCA Hospice Care, NTUC U Care Fund, Rainbow Centre - Yishun Park School amongst others.
